Behind the Scenes of our Holiday Song

Yesterday, Brooke and I put some time aside to work on The Girls With Glasses Show. We knew we wanted to do another video and I had messed around with some lyrics for a possible Christmas song. In true GWG style, we decided to write the song, find a recording studio, buy some jingle bells, record the song and shoot a video for the song all in about 5 hours. It was crazy, to say the least.

It was fun working with Brooke on music, I (again) realized how talented she is at creating music and singing (go figure). And I also learned that I should keep one ear out of the headset, because you can't hear your own voice. I sounded terrible...

But, we did have fun. Watch for our upcoming holiday video.

The Girls With Glasses in Rue Magazine

Brooke and Summer traveled to Palm Springs to shoot this lovely story for Rue Magazine. If you like interior design, you are going to love this new digital publication. Our location was the inspiring Elvis Honeymoon Suite. It is the actual house that Elvis and Priscilla rented out for their first night as husband and wife. Here are a few shots from the shoot. Check out the whole story in the second issue.

Announcement

While we were shooting our gift guides (coming soon), we took a few minutes to announce Summer's upcoming pregnancy. We are very excited, and can't wait to incorporate some baby stuff into the show... Special thanks to Kate Spade for letting us shoot at the new Palm Desert Store and for the fabulous clothes we are wearing. Also, Nancy Lane did our fabulous makeup and hair.

The Cutest Shoes in the World

Brooke and I took a little trip to Palm Springs. While there, we headed over to the new Kate Spade store in Palm Desert. Needless to say, it is adorable! We fell in love with these sparkle shoes so deeply we couldn't help singing to them. Stay tuned for our gift guide.
